J-Link and Flasher next to Geehy G33R50x chip

SEGGER J-Link and Flasher product families now support Geehy G32R50x MCUs

SEGGER's market-leading J-Link debug probes and Flasher in-system programmers can now be used with Geehy's G32R50x series of real-time microcontroller units (MCUs).

G32R50x MCUs are based on the Arm® Cortex®-M52 core and deliver real-time control capabilities. Offering computational efficiency, precise sensors, and reliability when controlling peripherals, the series was developed for use in photovoltaics, industrial automation, commercial power provision, and electric and new-energy vehicles.

SEGGER J-Link debug probes are the most widely used line of debug probes on the embedded-development market. In addition to unparalleled performance, they offer a wide range of features, such as the ability to download programs at high speed into a device’s flash memory, and support for nearly any CPU. Accordingly, J-Link has established itself as the go-to choice for embedded developers across industries.

SEGGER Flashers enable in-system programming of devices on a production line. They deliver robust, secure, and scalable solutions for every programming need — from prototype testing to high-volume production. Users can program non-volatile flash memory in microcontrollers, systems on a chip, and external SPI-style flash memory. In addition, they can also utilize Flasher’s support for serial and parallel data transfer over multiple I/O pins.

J-Link support gives Geehy users access to SEGGER’s Ozone multi-platform debugger and performance analyzer, as well as SEGGER’s complete development ecosystem. This includes Embedded StudioSystemView, cutting-edge software libraries, and emPower OS.

“In close collaboration with SEGGER, who are a global leader in development toolchains, we have integrated the G32R50x real-time MCU series with SEGGER’s J-Link and Flasher product families via J-Link Prime,” says Todd LIU, Deputy General Manager, Geehy. “This marks an important step in building our high-end MCU ecosystem. Our partnership with SEGGER not only enhances development efficiency, it also ensures that users transition smoothly to the Geehy platform, helping them leverage the advanced features of the G32R50x series for innovative applications in new energy, industrial automation, robotics, and more.”

“We are proud to have our J-Link and Flasher product families support Geehy’s G32R50x series, which also includes the G32R501 — the first dual-core Cortex®-M52-based processor in the world,” says CHEN Guowei (Lionheart), General Manager, SEGGER China. “Both Geehy and SEGGER have a strong reputation for excellence in the industry, and this close partnership further solidifies that status.”
