The J-Link EDU Mini is a stripped-down, budget-friendly model of the J-Link debug probe created for educational use. Even with its reduced size, it maintains the J-Link features of fast download rates into the internal flash of supported microcontrollers and the setting of unlimited breakpoints in flash memory.
The J-Link EDU Mini is available to educational institutions, private persons, and students who want to educate themselves in programming and debugging of embedded systems. Find out more about SEGGER's Educational Partnership Program.
All software is included free of charge. As a legitimate owner of a SEGGER J-Link, you can always download the latest software free of charge. Though not planned and not likely, we reserve the right to change this policy. Note that older models may not be supported by newer versions of the software. Typically, we support older models with new software at least 3 years after end of life.
The J-Link Software and Documentation Package is available here:
As a multi-platform solution, J-Link EDU Mini comes with the setup and control software for Linux, macOS and Windows. The MAC and Linux versions are fully usable, but limited to the following components:
Software and firmware updates are included. Similarly, use on all currently supported target devices, and any that will be added, is also included.
